Vimbayi Kaziboni, born in Zimbabwe, is a renowned conductor known for his intensity and innovative approach. He has performed worldwide in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Elbphilharmonie, and has worked with orchestras such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic and London Philharmonic Orchestra. Kaziboni is a leading performer of modern music and has premièred hundreds of new works. Since 2024, he has been conductor-in-residence at Klangforum Wien and artist-in-residence of the International Contemporary Ensemble. In addition, he is a professor at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
