Brett Dean, a renowned Australian composer and conductor, was a member of the Berliner Philharmoniker for fourteen years. As a violinist and conductor, Dean works with orchestras such as the Sydney Symphony and the Concertgebouw Orchestra. From 2019-2023 he was Composer in Residence with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and in 2024 he became Visiting Professor at the Royal Academy of Music.
