X Dresdner Philharmonie
From 23 to 25 June 2028, the designated winners will join the Dresdner Philharmonie for a three-day residency in Dresden focused on Bohemian repertoire.
Founded more than 150 years ago, the Dresdner Philharmonie combines a rich orchestral tradition with a strong commitment to artistic innovation and the development of young conductors. Since the opening of the new concert hall in the Kulturpalast in 2017, the orchestra has entered a new phase of international visibility and artistic renewal. As of the 2025/26 season, Sir Donald Runnicles serves as Chief Conductor.
In recent years, the orchestra has increasingly invested in the next generation of conductors through initiatives such as the newly established Runnicles Fellow Programme.
The ICCR residency in Dresden continues this commitment by giving participants the opportunity to work intensively with the orchestra in a professional rehearsal setting. The sessions will be observed by an international panel of conductors including Vasily Petrenko and Ludovic Morlot, offering participants direct artistic feedback and insight at a decisive stage of their professional development.

X Lead Lab Helsinki

The Finnish Lead Foundation directed by conductor Jukka-Pekka Saraste supports emerging conductors through mentoring programs, Lead Labs and the Fiskars Summer Festival.
